August 11. 2003 - Yet another very short one | Comments/reports/log-sheets/audios to DK5YA

MUF was jumping up'n down the whole day through mostly in the eastern part of Europe. In the early afternoon at app. 1500 UT there was lots of BC from I, 9A, DL and OK into UA6. At 15.40 first sigs from UT5 were audible in DL and OK, everybody thought this must be MS cause Perseids are close to their maximum. But suddenly at 15:44 144MHz was open from UA3 into 9A and UT5 into DL and OZ. But very short again, UT5 was also heard in SM6 for some 3 minutes. Band closed at 15:58 UT while BC from UA was into DL until the late evening. Activity was pretty low cause almost everybody was on that horrible crowded 144370 for FSK441 Ms....
